Nieuw toiletgebouw

Naast de polikliniek is een nieuw toiletgebouw neergezet, om het oude te vervangen. Het bisdom van Kigoma is sinds 2004 eigenaar van het ziekenhuis en sinds kort bezig om een aantal bestaande gebouwen op te knappen en te investeren in betere sanitaire voorzieningen. De komende tijd zullen op meerdere plekken op het ziekenhuisterrein bouwwerkzaamheden plaatsvinden. Afgelopen week is daarvoor een groot aantal bouwmaterialen gearriveerd. Als bestuur van de stichting zijn we blij dat het bisdom de verantwoordelijkheid neemt en investeert in het ziekenhuis. We zijn frequent in contact met zowel het ziekenhuis als het bisdom om te kijken op welke wijze we kunnen ondersteunen en samenwerken.

A new toilet block has been build next to the outpatient clinic, to replace the old one. The diocese of Kigoma has been the owner of the hospital since 2004 and has recently started to renovate a number of existing buildings and to invest in better sanitary facilities. Construction work will take place at several places of the hospital site in the upcoming period. Last week, a large number of building materials arrived. As the board of the foundation, we are happy that the diocese takes responsibility and invests in the hospital. We are frequently in contact with both the hospital and the diocese to see how we can support and work together.
