Nieuw project: Renovatie polikliniek voor moeder en kind

Het Kabanga Hospital is een belangrijk centrum in de Kigoma regio. Het ziekenhuis biedt de bevolking gekwalificeerde zorg binnen verschillende disciplines. Deze zorg wordt al meer dan 65 jaar verleend en de gebouwen zijn gebouwd in het jaar 1950. Er is al veel gebeurd op het gebied van renovatie van verschillende delen van het ziekenhuis. Nu is het tijd om de polikliniek voor de kinderen aan te pakken.

Door middel van de renovatie wil het Kabanga Hospital de werkomstandigheden voor de zorgverleners verbeteren en de moeders uit de regio aantrekken om met hun kinderen naar de kliniek te komen voor vaccinaties en gezondheidschecks. Daarnaast is het Kabanga Hospital een ‘referral hospital’ en is er een bepaalde standaard hoog te houden.

De totale kosten voor de renovatie zullen ongeveer 18.000 euro bedragen.

Kabanga Hospital is an important center in the Kigoma region. The hospital offers qualified care within different disciplines to the population of this region. This care has been granted for more than 65 years and the buildings were built in the 1950’s. Lots of different parts of the hospital has been already ​​renovated. Now it’s time for the outpatient clinic for the children (RCH).

By means of the renovation Kabanga Hospital wants to improve the working conditions for the caregivers and attract mothers from the region to come to the clinic with their children for vaccinations and health check-ups. And in addition, the Kabanga Hospital is a referral hospital which means there is a certain standard to keep up.

The total costs for the renovation will be approximately 18,000 euros.
